Signs your dryer vent needs cleaning

Restricted airflow can leave clothes damp after a normal cycle. Common signs include:

• A dryer running hotter than usual
• Lint collecting around the outside vent cap
• Very little air at the cap or a flap that stays closed while the dryer runs

Annual dryer vent cleaning

Ted offers dryer vent cleaning as an annual service. A long vent run, several bends or frequent laundry may call for cleaning sooner. A lot of our customers prefer the annual service to make sure they don’t forget as they know the importance of cleaning your dryer vents!

Dryer vent cleaning or dryer repair?

A clear vent does not rule out a problem inside the dryer. If the machine still will not heat or takes too long to dry, it may need a repair.
